Plans, usage and limits
What each ReplayQA plan includes, how usage and opt-in overages work, how budgets and spending caps protect you, and what happens when a plan ends or changes.
Your first workspace comes with a free trial. After that, a monthly plan sets what's included. You can see your plan and usage at any time under Billing & usage (Owners only), and a summary on Home.
The free trial
The free trial lets you see ReplayQA work on your own site:
- One video turned into a test, validated in a real browser.
- Replays of that test, up to 20 runs.
- One person. Choose a plan to invite teammates.
It's one trial per person: workspaces you create later start without one. Analyzing the same video again isn't included in the trial, but you can edit the test's steps. Choose a plan at any time under Billing & usage to make more tests.
What a plan includes
| Allowance | What counts | Resets |
|---|---|---|
| Saved tests | Draft and approved tests (archived tests don't count) | Never; it's a capacity limit |
| Seats | Workspace members | Never; it's a capacity limit |
| Test executions | Completed runs | Each billing period |
| AI recordings | Videos analyzed by AI | Each billing period |
| Storage | Videos, screenshots, traces | Measured continuously |
| Concurrent runs | Tests running at the same time | Never |
Plans also set fair-use limits on video size and length and on run duration. See Pricing for each plan's numbers.
Replays don't use AI, so playing tests never uses your AI allowance. Only analyzing a video, an AI fallback during validation, and Explain with AI do.
Overages, budgets and caps
By default, work beyond your allowance is paused, never silently charged. If you'd rather keep going, an Owner can turn on Allow usage-based overages and set:
- Monthly overage budget: you're warned at 50%, 80% and 100% of it.
- Hard spending cap: new billable work stops once overage reaches this amount.
Runs that fail because of our infrastructure are never billed, and retries of our jobs never bill twice.
Changing plans
Press Change plan under Billing & usage. Upgrades apply straight away. Downgrades, cancellation and payment details are handled in the secure billing portal.
When you have more than a plan allows
After a downgrade, nothing is deleted, but whatever is over the new plan stops:
- More saved tests than the limit: the newest tests are paused (approved tests are kept active first). Paused tests show Paused · over plan, can't be played, and are skipped by Play All with the reason. Archive tests you no longer need, or upgrade, and paused tests run again immediately.
- At the saved-test limit: uploading and New blank test are unavailable until you archive a test or upgrade.
- More members than seats: nobody loses access, but you can't invite anyone until you remove a member or add seats.
When a plan ends
If a trial expires, a subscription is canceled, or a payment fails for good, a banner explains why on every page. Your tests, runs and recordings stay readable, but playing, uploading and analyzing pause until an Owner chooses a plan. Runs that were already queued are canceled with the reason.
While a payment is being retried, everything keeps working, with a reminder to update your payment details.
